i have just had a quick play with the Addonics 4 channel dvr N57JN and i am really impressed

the menu system is really easy to use and the recordings are good quality.
i would definatly recomend this if you already have a camera system and just want to upgrade the dvr
or what, your going to hit me with that fish

From what experience I have with this (hopefully will gain more next week!) it does seem fantastic value for money.

Hope that playing with the system gets passed on to the stores too so we can all experience it.

Help
I have just bought this.
Very good quality and quite a lot of personalisation, but...I bought it to network with my main PC (downstairs; unit is upstairs), and to use on my iphone.
Please can you help? I have no idea about network addresses: what should I put in so that my PC can find it? How do I get my iphone to work with it?

The manual is worse than crap because it assumes you know all these things, and I don't! Besides it is written in such bad English.....

Hope someone can help

Thanks in advance.
